Welcome to UBAOG
General Overview
Over the past many years, it has become clear that there is great need for a one-stop-shop resource center for rural county, city, town elected officials and employees as well as special service district board and staff members. This resource center would need to include training, funding opportunities, valuable contacts and website links, example documents, and much more. Rural county, city, town elected officials and employees as well as special service district board and staff members have just enough time and resources to fulfill their day-to-day activities and responsibilities without having to research information needed to help provide more services to their communities. This website has been developed to fulfill all the above-mentioned needs and much more. Become a member today and be part of a vast resource center that will provide the needed answers you are looking for and help you be a part of the answers and resources others in our local tri-county area are looking for as well. Membership is free! This website, in conjunction with the newly introduced Local Administrative Advisor (LAA) program, will provide the avenue to help you become the difference in your community.

LAA Purpose
The purpose of the Local Administrative Advisor (LAA) program is to provide administrative support to local cities and towns with limited administrative staff. We understand that it is difficult to find time and resources to complete the requirements of the day-to-day. The Uintah Basin Association of Governments (UBAOG) has partnered with the Utah Legue of Cities and Towns (ULCT) to offer this free service. At the UBAOG, there is a team of Local Administrative Advisors that are willing to help with your needs. Anything from administration of local cities and towns to grant writing, we can help with all your needs in combination with the use of this website. We look forward to working with you in making wise decisions based on the future of your communities.
